March Clash of the Covers
Congratulations to our February winner, Darker Still by Leanna Renee Hieber! (I’m reading it now, by the way, and it’s awesome.)
And now on to our picks for March!
What Susan Blexrud says: Black, white, and red combos always appeal to me, and I love the trailing sash and the fact that her hair matches her gown. This is one of those covers that compels me to read the book, and isn’t that what a good cover should do?
What Chandra Ryan says: I loved the updated fantasy feel of this book. The muted colors and ancient columns in the background reminded me of the fantasy books I read in my youth, but the striking image of the woman with only gauzy material covering her really made this cover not only fresh and current but also engaging.
What Robyn Bachar says: Now, those of you who follow me on Twitter may know that I’m sekrit Twitter married to Devin Harnois, and might think this qualifies as favoritism. It probably does…but I love this cover. Sometimes you just need a book with a hot muscley guy gracing its cover. The colors are also great–bright, bold, attention grabbing. It makes a statement, and that statement is READ ME.
(I happen to also be reading it now on my Nook.)
Now take your pick in our quick click poll to choose which of these covers will be our featured cover next month…
